BATTLE FOR THE OZZFEST!!!

Ozzfest, the day when the gods of metal re-unite under one scene of hard rock music comprising of love, hate, anger and despair. The day when fretboards are shredded, amps are abused, women are raped and vocal chords heavily excersised! It is but every rocker's dream to perform in such a momentous event! The opportunity of having to clash rhythms with the legendary Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath is indeed a great honor! That dream however is made possible by our man Ozzy, a new reality tv show "Battle for the Ozzfest" is now hosted by MTV! Out of more than 700 demo cds/videos sent by aspiring heavy metal bands, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne personally handpicked 12 bands as finalists for the said contest. And the prize? not including the great exposure, the band will get to perform live at the the ozzfest 2005 plus a record a deal! damn, how i wish i was there! But theres a catch, only one representive per band gets to go to ozzfest 2004 and compete for a contest that is quite similar to uhm... fear factor?not to mention last episode, the contestants were required to bite a bat's head off! coolness man hahaha. (ozzy did this in ones of his concerts) Im looking forward to see the rest of the episodes, the shows been aired on mtv saturday afternoon. watch out for it, you get to see the likes of Zack Wylde(Black Label Society), Cory Taylor(Slipknot) and many more celebrities.
